At InTune Music Therapy, we are committed to providing high-quality, professional care that remains accessible to our community. For that reason we offer free consultations to all of our clients. Our fees are also carefully aligned with the British Association for Music Therapy (BAMT) recommended sessional rates, which range from £50 upwards for individual private practice sessions. This pricing structure ensures we can cover essential clinical costs including HCPC registration, specialist instrument maintenance, and mandatory clinical supervision while maintaining fair pay for our highly trained therapists.
To further support financial accessibility, we proudly accept Self-Directed Support (SDS) for payments, allowing clients and carers to use their allocated personal budgets to access the therapeutic outcomes that matter most to them.

At InTune Music Therapy, our standard session fee is more than just "time in the room" it covers a comprehensive cycle of clinical care, centred around your hour of direct contact time.
We believe in complete transparency, which is why our all-inclusive rate features no hidden extras, meaning you won't be charged additional fees for standard progress reports or administrative support.
This rate is designed to be all-encompassing, ensuring that the high-quality therapeutic experience you receive in the room is backed by professional standards and allows for the essential professional work that happens behind the scenes:
- Clinical Preparation & Planning: Tailoring musical interventions such as selecting specific instruments or preparing therapeutic songwriting frameworks to meet your unique goals.
- Confidential Note-Writing, Reports & Evaluation: Detailed recording of clinical observations and progress to ensure continuity of care and the ability to provide you with thorough assessments.
- Mandatory Clinical Supervision: Regular, professional reflection with a senior therapist to maintain the highest standards of safety, ethics, and clinical effectiveness.
- Essential Overheads: This includes our HCPC professional registration, specialist instrument maintenance, and professional indemnity insurance.
